Whilst walking is considered a great way to keep your heart healthy, weight lifting and resistance training for just 20 minutes 3-5 times per week has been shown to significantly help reduce the risk of ill health and mobility problems in later life. Start small with body weight exercises, and build your way up to adding kettle bells, bar bells and dumbbells as you get stronger.
NUTRITION
Managing your nutritional needs is a gateway to a healthy body and mind. Whole, nutritionally dense foods can improve longevity, skin health and believe it or not, mental health too. By eating less processed foods, you will be sure to notice positive changes in your day to day life.

Another tool to add to your box that helps to create emotional regulation, reflection and self awareness. This tool can also be used to aid symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress and can is a great resource for self improvement. You can start with 5 minutes or 50 minutes depending on your needs, preferences and emotions.
